The G.E.M.A. Foundation DISCO Weekend, Wilmington, Delaware, October 10th & 11th, 2014. The weekend consisted of an Awards-Luncheon, Rehearsals, Show, and After Party. The event was hosted by Dee Wellmon and Maria Lozada of The G.E.M.A. Foundation. The Awards Luncheon Ceremony was held on October 10th at the Deep Blue Bar & Grill in Delaware where Councilman David Oh of Philadelphia presented the Honorees with a Citation from Philadelphia, PA. In addition, special awards were presented to each Honoree by their colleagues. The Rehearsals and Show Performances were held at The Grand Opera House in Wilmington, Delaware. Disco Weekend with Awards and Performances included ‘The Three Degrees’: Valerie Holiday, Helen Scott, and Freddie Pool (with former member Cynthia Garrison also honored), Anita Ward, Evelyn Champagne King, Carol Williams, Linda Clifford, Carol Douglas, Denise Montana, The Ladies of SKYY, Alfa Anderson of 'Chic', Wardell Piper was honored for her Solo Career (she is also a member of 'First Choice'), and Cory Daye of 'Dr. Buzzard's Original Savannah Band'.

The Performers were honored with Awards and Citation for their achievements in the recording industry. In addition, Tom Moulton, Norman Connors, Bobby Eli, Dennis Taylor, Gene Leone, James Arena, James Rosin, Maria Torres, Mimi Brown (WDAS FM Radio), Larry Cotton, Tim Marshall, and Bruce Webb were honored for their recording, musical, dance and literary achievements in the recording and radio industry. Special guests in attendance/participating in the show and/or weekend included DeVerne D. Williams, Rahieam Howard, Annette Guest of ‘First Choice’, The Volcanos, Michael Harkins, John Giovanni LaHara, Vonnie Eli, Gigi Neglia, Gwen Kelly, Ashley Scott, James Sullivan, Sheila Denise, Tom (husband of Denise Montana), Freddie Fox, Austin Kwame Wilkinson, DJ Al Magliano, Philly Rap Promoter Rodney Horton “Atlas”, and many more.
